RSU Biology Club Wraps Up Angel Tree Donations

The elves of the Biology Club met on a winter's day, December 12, 2014, to joyfully wrap the generously donated angel tree gifts.  The thoughtfulness and love given by everyone that donated was pondered upon as the elves envisioned what it would be like to be a receiving child and the joy these presents will bring as each gift was individually wrapped with great care.  Each elf oohed and awwed over the shirts, pants, hats, mittens, socks, shoes, and coats that will help ensure the children stay warm this winter, or the toys of princess dress up dresses, stuffed animals, horses, dolls, trucks, books, and puzzles.  Each gift was given to a child  that, like ourselves when we were young, excitability anticipated receiving a present, and anxiously unwrapped the package, and received  something needed, something warm, something that will be cherished.  The joy of receiving was attained in the adventure awaiting in the pages of a book, a pretend play with new dinosaurs, a new puzzle to solve, a new bear to hold and love and be a treasure in a warm heart.  We were thankful to have this opportunity to be able to provide this cheer and this moment to each child, where the opportunity to receive this year may otherwise have not been possible.

Thank you to everyone who adopted the angels and everyone who donated their time.  It is with the generous collaborative contribution provided by everyone that helped ensure this year's angles were well take care of!
