main changes:
1.
A
Representative floor leader will be elected from elected SGA member
representatives. The representative
floor leader will act as point of contact between SGA and student organizations
to assist with questions and clarification of information.
2.
Attendance will be more focused towards elected
SGA representatives present at meeting.
Future SGA meeting roll call will be more focused on roll call of
individual elected student organization SGA representatives.
3.
No requests for per diems to students shall be
allowed through SGA
4.
EC when voting on funds request, just voting
that everything in the funds request is submitted properly. Not to represent the EC support, approval, or
disapproval of the request. Approval or
disapproval of the funds request is voted on in SGA.
5.
No SGA funds may be requested to cover
graduation regalia.
6.
If requesting funds from SGA for purchase of
printed material, t-shirts, or other fundraising material, the SGA logo must be
present on material. If at least half of
funds requested from discretionary the SGA logo would be required.
7.
Tier 3 will become Tier 1 and vice versa
8.
Limitations for what funds may be requested from
discretionary funds. Tier 1, no
limit. Tier 2, no more than 7x the
amount of their appropriated funds. Tier
3, no more than 5x the amount of their appropriated funds. New clubs and organizations are given $100
from their appropriated funds, most they are able to ask for 3x more than their
appropriated funds.
9.
To be EC position, interested in President or VP
must have 2 immediately preceding semesters in SGA prior to qualifying to run
for President or VP of EC.
